The Shout! Awards is a 2.5 hour TV special dedicated
to give recognition to those who have made great impact and creative
breakthroughs in Malaysian music, film, TV and radio. A
first-of-its-kind awards show for these four industries, it aims to
reward the most-deserving artists, actors, radio and TV faces, giving
voice to all Malaysians to define the new cool.
This year’s installment will introduce four new awards on top of the existing 13 awards.
They are: the Music Video Award, the Breakthrough Local Feature Award,
Favourite TV Personality Award, and Mobile Artist of the Year Award for
the most downloaded ‘ringback’ tone.
This year’s Shout! Awards will be held on November 20, 2010 at Stadium
Putra, Bukit Jalil and will be aired live on 8TV at 8.30pm.
All the winners will be judged by the biggest votes received via SMS and online voting at http://www.shoutawards.com.my/voting/
